Allen Lee, MD

Dr. Allen Lee brings a wealth of experience beyond clinical medicine to his current leadership role within Southland: his business acumen, administrative experience and risk management focus provide a unique skill set for impacting patient care while addressing the key business dynamics of the hospital. Dr. Lee initially completed his Undergraduate and Graduate work at Georgia Tech where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters degree in Architecture with associated studies in business and finance. Dr. Lee returned to Georgia Tech for post baccalaureate medical studies while also teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology at Georgia State University. Prior to Medical School, Dr. Lee was the Clinical Research Coordinator at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. He graduated from Mercer Medical School, and completed and Emergency Medicine Residency through the University of Florida at Shands Jacksonville. He is currently President of Southland Emergency Medical services where he works with partner hospitals to achieve clinical and operational best practices while working each month thoughout Southlands facilities. Dr Lee resides in Thomasville, Georgia with wife Shae and their three children.
