
Davis L. Kinney, D.C., FICC
Dr. Kinney is a recognized leader in the chiropractic profession. He has been named “Georgia Chiropractor of the Year” by the Georgia Chiropractic Association, and “Physician of the Year” by the Georgia Board of Worker’s Compensation. He currently serves as a Chief Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and is a past president of the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners, having been appointed to the position four times by three of Georgia’s governors. He is a member of the American and Georgia Chiropractic Associations, and has held numerous positions of leadership including his current role as the liaison to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia.
He is a member of the Professional Affairs Healthcare Advisory Committee of American Specialty Health Network, a large national health insurance PPO. His publications include: Contributor, “The Guidelines to Chiropractic Practice; The Mercy Conference Guidelines,” “The Georgia Chiropractor in the HMO/PPO Environment,” and “The Chiropractor’s Role in Worker’s Compensation.”
Dr. Kinney was co-founder and Director of Chiropractic Services of Musculoskeletal Associates (MSA), a large multi-disciplinary practice founded with orthopedic surgeon, Phillip D. Hajek, MD. In 2009, Dr. Kinney established MSA Chiropractic Sport and Spine along with Dr. Daniel Webb to better focus on the unique needs of chiropractic patients. MSA and MSA Chiropractic Sport and Spine continue to share a 26,000 sq. ft. facility and maintain a close working relationship, with a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care when indicated.
Dr. Kinney is a native of Albany and he and his wife Angel have three children. He has been active in many community organizations, and is a member of Porterfield United Methodist Church where he teaches an adult Sunday School class and is a member of the worship team. His hobbies include playing the guitar and hunting.
