Covid 19 Antibody Test:

This is a screening for something called antibodies in your blood. Your body makes antibodies when it fights an infection, like COVID-19. The antibody test isn’t checking for the virus itself. Instead, it looks to see whether your immune system — your body’s defense against illness — has responded to a previous infection. It can take your body up to 4 weeks to develop antibodies.

  • You will need to schedule an appointment by calling the office or requesting an appointment online.
  • Most insurance companies will cover the cost of testing which includes a basic office visit.
  • You must wear a mask when visiting OneSource locations.
  • While there are other tests on the market, currently the most reliable antibody test requires us to obtain and blood sample and submit it for laboratory testing.
